I really enjoy doing this and don’t put any pressures on myself to pound out books as fast as I can. I’m not sure I totally look at this as a career yet, more of a hobby, a love, a passion, a way to express my creative side. What is the best writing advice you have ever gotten?įind time out of every day to write, even if it’s only a small amount. It’s very helpful and great to meet people who are doing the same thing as you. Strange I know, but truly I’ve found a wealth of information on FB from fellow writers. Where is the best place to go for writing advice? It’s important to have your ‘ducks in a row’ or else you get bogged down and it takes even longer. What is the single most important thing a newly published writer should do?ĭo your research first! Make sure you understand the process to be able to hit publish. It is a lot of work, but I enjoy being in control and making the decisions. You are completely in charge of your story, marketing, and managing all aspects of selling your books. If you are eager to get your work and your story out there I recommend this route. I am self-published, which is a very different route. What is the single most important thing an unpublished writer should do to get published?
